Qigong has taken me on the most beautiful journey…

It is a practice that continues to help me grow older with more grace, softness, aliveness and joy…

From learning karate in my 20’s for self defence, to “playing” Tai Chi (and attempting to learn the form many times!), through many years of teaching yoga and breathwork, I fully landed in my Qigong practice.

Qigong has taken me to the essence of all the practices I have ever learnt…and along a path of continued learning into myself, and into the essence of life itself.

I have been fortunate to practice with, and learn from, some incredible teachers including Sifu Wing Cheung, Nicola Ley, Annie Cryar, Catherine Burnett, Daisy Lee, Mimi Kuo-Deemer, Burgs, Dr Richard Brown & Angus Clark…

I have done an extensive year long Qigong Teacher Training with the Shiatsu College under the lineage of Sifu Wing Cheung.  I have also trained with Daisy Lee to teach Radiant Lotus Women’s Qigong, along with other complementary practices such as Tibetan Sound Healing & Tibetan Acupressure under the lineage of Master Jiang Nan of Tian Shan Mountain.

What is Qigong?

Qigong is an ancient Chinese mind-body-spirit practice and one of the four main branches of Chinese Medicine, based on the understanding that we have life energy (qi) flowing through our bodies feeding our organs and cells.

Qigong is a moving meditation combining gentle movement with breath and awareness to cultivate this flow of energy through the body.

It has its roots in Doaist philosophy with the cultivation of qi being a path to harmony with the natural world, reminding us that we are inseparable from our environment.

Thousands of studies have shown Qigong to improve one’s mental and physical health helping with many issues from high blood pressure to chronic illness and mental stress.
