18 Forms of Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi

Open and suitable for everyone

(Drop-ins are extremely welcome and enjoyable, but you may find more long term benefit to sign up to each course as a whole…)

We will explore different forms during each course (usually between 4-6 weeks).  These may include the 18 Forms of Taiji Qigong Shibashi, the 9 Forms of Pre-Heaven Qigong, the 8 Brocades, Five Phases (Elements) Qigong, Radiant Lotus Qigong and many more forms and complementary practices.

Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi is a set of Qigong exercises synchronising 18 movements (forms) with the breath.

It is a gentle, beautiful and flowing Qigong routine that is both a joy to do and deeply relaxing.

Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi is designed to improve general health and wellbeing. The gentle rocking motions and stretching movements improve circulation and digestion. The chest exercises and controlled breathing are good for lung health. And the overall effect is to reduce mental stress and physical tension carried in the muscles of the body.

It is very easy to learn and suitable for people of all ages.  It can be practiced sitting or standing…and is considered a national health exercise in some countries!

I love to work on retreats, they enable us to take this work so much deeper, and I currently work on retreats in the UK and abroad.
