Prices & Packages

Helping you gain control of your health and wellbeing by making more educated food and lifestyle choices. Restoring the balance of body and mind.

What to expect

It is best to approach nutritional and lifestyle changes in stages.  In this way we can work together to keep the plan realistic and moving forward in a way that you are comfortable and happy with.

There are various packages to choose from but, if you are unsure, I can advise how many appointments I think could be beneficial for you after we have had an initial discussion.

It is usually important to have at least one follow up appointment but if you prefer to book individual appointments and pay as you go then this is fine.

The first follow up appointment is usually around 4- 6 weeks after your initial consultation and we can organise further follow ups to fit in with your life.

Any programme will require commitment and dedication but I can assure you it will be worth it and, as you start to see the improvements, you will look back and wonder why you didn’t make changes sooner.

Functional Testing

I may recommend laboratory investigations to enable a more targeted approach to your nutrition programme. They can also be useful to monitor your progress as we work through your programme.

Samples are either from your breath, blood, saliva, urine or stool. Most can be taken at home but occasionally it may be necessary to attend a laboratory.

A range of UK medical laboratories are used, including  Biolab, Invivo Clinical and Genova Diagnostics.

Some tests that may be considered:

  • Digestive and gut function analysis
  • Assessment of nutrition status
  • Allergy and food intolerance
  • Adrenal stress profile
  • Bone turnover (osteoporosis risk)

I will be able to interpret your test results and provide clear, realistic nutrition recommendations.

DNA Testing

I am trained to undertake and interpret DNA Fit genetic tests to evaluate variations in genes that can have an impact on health. We cannot change our genetics but we can change how our lifestyle interacts with them. By identifying genetic strengths and weaknesses I can give you dietary, exercise and lifestyle recommendations specific to you.

Some of the factors tested for:

  • Sensitivity to alcohol, caffeine and salt
  • Lactose intolerance
  • Gluten sensitivity
  • Your needs for Omega 3, antioxidants, vitamin D and B vitamins
  • How you metabolise fats, carbohydrates and protein and the best way for you to eat them
  • Liver detoxification ability
  • The type of exercise you are most suited to
